From November 14 to December 10, the municipality of Vidreres scheduled a series of activities centered on the historical and cultural heritage linked to the Viscountcy of Cabrera.

Over the course of a month—as part of Vidreres’ secondary local festival and the Viscountcy of Cabrera project—various activities were coordinated with the Vidreres Town Council. These events allowed local residents to step back in time to the era of the Viscountcy of Cabrera in Vidreres, while learning about its historical and cultural legacy.

Throughout the event period, visitors could view the Viscountcy of Cabrera project exhibition at the Joan Rigau i Sala Library. For this occasion, the exhibition was expanded to include new educational materials highlighting the various links between Vidreres and the Viscountcy of Cabrera. On Saturday, November 18, a talk on the Viscountcy of Cabrera was held, led by historian and archaeologist Joan Llinàs and Àngel Vàzquez, a specialist from the La Selva County Council. Finally, on Sunday, November 19, a community walk to Sant Iscle Castle was organized; upon arrival, participants toured the castle with Joan Llinàs, the director of the archaeological excavations conducted at the site (an activity organized by the Vitraris Group). That same day, as part of the 10th Gathering of Historic Stews and Soups (*X Trobada d’escudelles, ranxos i sopes històriques*), attendees enjoyed a historical reenactment featuring Viscount Guerau VI de Cabrera. This schedule of activities has been jointly organized by the Vidreres Town Council and the La Selva County Council as part of the *Vescomtat de Cabrera* (Viscounty of Cabrera) project; it aims to raise awareness among the residents of Vidreres about the Viscounty’s historical and cultural heritage and its connection to the municipality.
