The Blanes Municipal Archive has carried out various initiatives to open the tower of Sant Joan Castle to the public starting June 23rd. Opening this site offers a spectacular 360-degree panoramic view connecting the town with the sea and allows visitors to step back in time at a location that served as a crucial strategic lookout point during the era of the Viscountcy of Cabrera.

Information

  • Summer hours (May–September): Monday to Sunday, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
  • No reservation required. Access via stairs.
  • Free admission in June; from July onwards, general admission is €2, with a reduced rate of €1 (for pensioners and those over 65, students, Youth Card holders, the unemployed, and large family cardholders).
  • Free admission for children aged 6 to 12.
