The municipality is located in the Ter valley, in the middle of the Guilleries Mountains and the Collsacabra massif. The main protagonist of the landscape is the reservoir, which buried the farmhouses, the bridge and the church of Susqueda.

Its landscape, made up of abundant and rich vegetation, brings together all the attractions of the Guilleries area. The municipality of Susqueda is located in an ideal environment for hiking and geological heritage. This privileged natural environment can be seen from the sanctuary of the Virgen del Faro, another of the tourist centres of the municipality.
