The temple is of Romanesque origin and is documented in 1190, but the current building dates back to the 16th and 17th centuries while the bell tower dates back to the 18th century. On 3 May 1640, the soldiers of Terç de Moles burned and destroyed the church during the revolt at the outbreak of the Reapers' War. The new building was constructed during the second half of the 17th century.
It is a building with a Latin cross plan. The façade has a large circular window and a gallery of tiled arches, now blinded. The bell tower, which is attached to the south façade, preserves the old structure and is made of granite stones.
